Hi all
I’ve been thinking that it might be useful to have a forum which covers albinism in myths and literature.
In this forum people could discuss and share their research on how albinism has been treated and portrayed in writing, and what their views are on this material. The forum could also be used for aspiring writers, or those who enjoy a challenge, to show how they have chosen to portray a character with albinism in their works. And, possibly the most important of all, it would give people the chance to have their works reviewed and critiqued by other writers, and those who have personal experience with albinism (either they’re albino, or they’re relatives or close friends of someone who is albino).
Anyway, these are my thoughts. I’d like to know if anyone else thinks such a forum would be worthwhile, and if they would be able to benefit from it; there seems to be a few writers here and lots of people who could give them all kinds of assistance.
